4.0 Token Utility & Staking Mechanics
4.0 Token Utility & Staking Mechanics
The RAVEN token is the core currency of the Raven Rush ecosystem, designed to power high-stakes gameplay, fuel decentralized tournaments, and give players influence over the platform’s future. Whether you’re racing for prizes, staking for governance, or unlocking in-game features, RAVEN is at the heart of it all.
4.1 Token Roles
The RAVEN token is more than just a utility asset — it’s the fuel for competition, ownership, and progression.

4.2 Staking in PvP (Progressive Reward System)
Raven Rush introduces a progressive staking and payout model for PvP gameplay. This ensures that competitive races don’t just reward a single winner, but distribute gains fairly across high-performing players — while still penalizing poor performance to maintain competitive integrity.
How It Works:
All racers stake an equal amount of RAVEN to enter a match.
A smart contract holds and secures the full prize pool.
After the race, rewards are distributed based on finishing position.
Top finishers earn more than they staked.
Mid-tier racers may break even or take minor losses.
Bottom racers lose a greater portion of their staked RAVEN.
Example: 10-Player PvP Race (10 RAVEN per player = 100 RAVEN pool)

This model supports both casual and competitive players, making each race feel fair and rewarding based on actual performance — not just winner-takes-all luck.
4.3 Tournament Pools (Progressive Prize Distribution)
Weekly and seasonal tournaments are hosted by Raven Rush and backed by significant RAVEN prize pools. These events showcase top talent and offer a chance to win big based on consistency, streaks, and leaderboard performance.
Entry & Selection:
Entry is granted to top-performing racers from the weekly leaderboard.
Players may also qualify through open qualifiers or Galxe campaigns.
Some tournaments may require RAVEN staking or NFT ownership for access.
Prize Pool Sources:
Treasury reserves and fee allocations
Partner and sponsor contributions
Entry fees (in select events)
Marketplace and in-game revenue

The progressive structure incentivizes consistent racers and promotes a healthy competition ecosystem — not just one-off wins.
4.4 Fee Mechanics (2.5%)
A small fee of 2.5% is deducted from each PvP race or tournament prize pool to support ecosystem operations.

4.5 Staking & Governance
Beyond gameplay, RAVEN token holders can stake their tokens for passive benefits and take part in governance decisions.
Benefits of Staking:
Earn yield from fee redistribution
Access exclusive tournaments or beta features
Receive time-based bonuses (e.g. skins, badges)
Governance Utility:
Vote on future features, game balances, and roadmap items
Propose or support updates to reward structures or tokenomics
Influence the future of tournaments and in-game economics
Governance may start through off-chain voting systems (e.g., Snapshot), with plans to transition to on-chain DAO voting over time.
RAVEN is not just a token — it’s your skill-based currency, your ticket to glory, and your voice in the future of competitive Web3 racing.
